“On behalf of the Teen Night Out Organization for handicapped teens and their families, I would like to express our gratitude for the financial assistance your organization provided our group for the evening of percussion music demonstration by Joe Chila, owner of JC’s Drum Center/Rhythm Academy. Joe Chila provided an exciting evening of music on the drums and a variety of percussion instruments. Our teens had a great time experimenting with the different drums and Joe was a great inspiration for all our teens. He was very attentive with each individual and helped even the more reticent ones to participate and enjoy the variety of rhythms and music making.”

“My students were actively engaged in the workshop. They especially enjoyed creating their own drums to take home and share with their families. The assembly was very student centered and allowed many students to participate in the drumming experience.”
